Words Matter

Words (language) are perhaps the most common and crucial form of communication human beings use although certainly not the only one. Words are important in a world of multiple languages. Consider that by confounding people's once singular language, man was hindered by Yahweh from an arrogant quest to become godlike and ascend into the heavenlies. Words unify us therefore we can connect and become a growing community through speech. The human culture hinges on our ability to communicate with each other even among different social structures which started at the Tower of Babel. Genesis 11 tells the story and gives the reason behind it. One of the primary ideas demonstrated in that telling is how words/language matters so much in our human interactions until the Great I AM instituted multiple languages knowing it would disperse the people, break apart the larger community into smaller tribes of like language. The affect would be people with the same vocabulary dispersing and living together. The Divinely designed diaspora created new and various global cultures.

Words are powerful and they are spiritual. There are no words more spiritually powerful and humanly important than those found in Scripture. The Words in the Sacred Writ show us how to access eternal life with our Sovereign Creator. They reveal the Great I AM as a Loving Father Yah to us. Scripture teaches about Yahweh's Savior Son and our Redeemer, Yahshua, the Messiah and  His Ruach Hakodesh, the Holy Spirit in light of this sadly fallen world. The Holy Bible's Inspired Words declare the Gospel of Yahshua and the Kingdom of YAH. When studying Scripture, in order to get a clearer and more precise understanding, it is imperative to search and examine word usage regardless to the version you use. A single word wrongly interpreted can alter the meaning of an entire passage. Understanding the Bible requires we pay close attention to certain words and their meaning and cultural usage in the time period it was originally written.  Words matter and language is important in any form of human communication, especially within the Precious Word of YAH.

The Bible Says

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1-5 (AKJV)

For the word of God is lively, and mighty in operation, and sharper than any two edged sword, and entereth through, even unto the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints, and the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts, and the intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12 (1599 GNV)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it, shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 18:21 (1599 GNV)
It is the Spirit that makes alive. The flesh does not profit--nothing! The words which I speak to you are spirit and are life.
